1. Plaats 2 1.5VAAA-batterijen in het batterijcompartiment en sluit het batterijklepje. Druk vervolgens op de aan/uit-knop om het instrument in te schakelen. Het instrument zal een waarde van 7 weergeven.00.

2. Reinig het oppervlak van de sonde voor elke meting. Als de te meten grond te droog is, strooi er dan wat water op en wacht een half uur voordat u gaat meten.

3. Insert the metal rod of the instrument vertically downward into the soil for about 150mm, allowing the wet soil to contact with the metal surface of the probe loosely, never pressing it too hard. The instrument will display the soil PH value. For accurate measurement, wait until the value become stable before taking a reading, and take several area measurements to obtain an average. Press MODE button to switch between displaying soil moisture, temperature and PH. It will display "HI" when the measured PH value is greater than 8.5 and "LO" when the measured value is less than 2.0
